Wattle Hill Kindergarten is managed by a voluntary group of parents whose children attend the kindergarten. Listed right are the great variety of individual jobs to make up our 'Parent Committee of Management'.

The Wattle Hill Kindergarten Parent Committee of Management is an incorporated body consisting of 12 members. In addition there can be any number of co-opted members who may attend and contribute to meetings, but do not have voting rights. Most kindergartens are managed by volunteer Parent Committees and rely heavily on the active involvement, enthusiasm and support of all families in their community. Parent volunteers, elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November each year, manage the legal, financial and employment responsibilities of our kindergarten.

The majority of members are required to attend monthly meeetings and if possible, support various other functions and activities throughout the year. More information on these responsibilities can be received at the AGM, from Sofi, or previous committee members.  

The Parent Committee of Management ensures a quality service is provided at our kinder for our children.
